Retired Judge Mark Bomani who was the first Attorney General of Tanzania passed away on the eve of today September 11, 2020, at Muhimbili National Hospital.
Muhimbili National Hospital Liaison Officer, Aminiel Aligaesha, has confirmed that Retired Judge Mzee Bomani was hospitalized for 24 days
"Retired Judge has died here in Muhimbili, he died at 4:00 pm tonight, he was here in hospital for 24 days," he said.
